Whole-Life Training — Body · Mind · Spirit

The wide road is crowded. This one isn't.

Training for people who are done feeling stuck — build discipline in your health, your habits, and your walk with God, with a trainer in your corner for all of it.

"Enter through the narrow gate… small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." — Matthew 7:13–14

The Problem

Motivation fades. That's why you need more than motivation.

You know what you should be doing — eating better, praying more, wasting less time, showing up stronger for the people who count on you. Some days you're fired up. Other days the fire's just gone.

That's normal — and it's exactly why willpower alone keeps failing you. What lasts is a plan built for your actual life, someone holding you to it, and a reason bigger than a feeling. That's what a trainer is for. Not just for your body — for your whole life.

"Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control."Proverbs 25:28

The Framework

One life. Three pillars.
Trained together.

BODY

Strength, nutrition, energy. A realistic plan for your schedule and your budget — built for real life, not a highlight reel.

"Your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… honor God with your bodies."1 Corinthians 6:19–20

MIND

Discipline, habits, focus. Kill the time-wasters, build routines that hold under pressure, and take back your attention.

"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind."Romans 12:2

SPIRIT

Faith, purpose, character. Scripture-grounded direction so your growth is built on rock, not sand.

"Seek first the kingdom of God."Matthew 6:33

Most coaching fixes one area while the others fall apart. We train all three — because that's how a life actually holds together. "Physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things." — 1 Timothy 4:8

The Trainer

Why I do this

Tyson, founder of Through the Narrow Gate

Tyson — Founder & Trainer

Not long ago, I was the person this website is written for. After a few years of ups and downs, I hit my lowest stretch — wasting away in my bedroom, hours disappearing into my phone, stuck in pornography and habits I hated, talking to myself in a voice I'd never let anyone use on someone I love. And underneath all of it was a loneliness I couldn't say out loud. I was at the bottom, surrounded by people who had no idea, and I didn't know how to ask anyone to come find me. I looked functional from the outside. Inside, I was drifting.

Then it hit me plainly: this is not who God intended me to be. He gave me a gift for teaching and helping people grow — and I was burying it in a dark room. So I rebuilt, one unglamorous step at a time. I set alarms and got up early, when nothing was going on, so "no time" stopped being an excuse. I deleted social media for a season. I started my days with the Bible and a workout instead of trying to squeeze them in after I was already spent. I found a church family and a men's group. And most of all — I stopped fighting alone. I had someone checking in on me, someone doing the hard things alongside me. That changed everything, because nobody walks the narrow road by themselves.

That's why Through the Narrow Gate exists. I had to grow before I could reach my arms out — and now I'm reaching, especially for the ones where I was: at the bottom, feeling alone in a full room, sure that nobody would understand. I understand. I'm not standing at the finish line waving at you; I'm on the road a few steps ahead, and I know exactly how heavy the first steps feel — and how much lighter they get when someone takes them with you. If that's you, you don't need another app or another plan you'll abandon. You need someone in your corner who won't let you disappear. That's what I'm here to be.

The ones who walked through

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."Proverbs 27:17

"There was a time I focused on fear, doubt, and my own understanding. Countless miles running with Tyson became more than exercise — they became discipline, growth, and conversations that pointed me back to Christ. Real change starts from the inside out, and I'm trusting God more every day — as a husband, and now as a father."

— Jesus Carmona

"Before I met Tyson I thought I was doing great — but there were parts of myself I needed to grow, and I didn't always know where to start. He helped me grow in mind, body, and spirit: reading the Bible, deep conversations about the areas where I needed to grow, workouts that pushed me. He never just told me what to do and walked away. He stayed by my side and helped me become better one step at a time."

— Zulia H.

"I've lost over 25 pounds, started staying consistent in the gym, and built habits that have changed more than just my body. The biggest difference has been learning to stay committed even on the days I didn't feel like showing up. I'm not perfect, but I've learned how much progress can come from being consistent and trusting the process."

— Brady F.
